River levels may change the difficulty of the rapids, so contact the park office for current conditions. Visit the Cascades, a beautiful woodland waterfall in Meadow Run near the park office. It's pretty to look at and its cool, clean waters make this stream a favorite for trout anglers. Several small falls can be seen from the Jonathan Run Trail. Just before the trail meets the Youghiogheny River Trail, the largest waterfall tumbles over rocks between rhododendron-lined banks.
